After 20 years in the computer industry and with experience of owning managed rental properties Ross decided there was an opportunity for a company that was advanced in technology and committed to providing personalised quality management services. Quinovic was founded by Ross in 1988, opened its first franchised office in 1991 and from the outset was determined to become the pre-eminent supplier of quality residential property management services in New Zealand. Quinovic has since developed unique expertise in professionally managing residential properties both for home owners moving out of town and for residential property investors. Quinovic's thorough, professional and technologically advanced approach has so effectively met the demand for quality property management services that it has grown to be the largest and most preferred specialist property management group of its type

Director

Lana is a Director of Quinovic Property Management and worked with Ross since the company's inception in 1988. Her previous experience as a shorthand typist secretary to a number of senior managers, directors and CEOs, and later as a printing sales executive, has given her a broad range of skills. Lana ran the office, personnel and administrative function of the franchise she and Ross owned.

Independent Director

Mike brings recognised entrepreneurial and strategic thinking to his role as an Independent Director of the Quinovic group as we enter a new phase of growth and business success. He has a strong commitment and adherence to robust governance principles. With more than 40 years' experience in the Information Technology, Personnel and Telecommunications services industries, Mike has held senior positions with IBM in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Australia. Quinovic is fortunate to have the benefit of his record of successful leadership of companies and large project teams to deliver quality outcomes across a variety of industries. His experience in leading edge IT will provide an important perspective as we build on our strategic use of online technologies to enhance our property management competitive advantage. Mike has established a number of private businesses and is currently Executive Director and owner of Techspace Consulting Ltd, which he co-founded in 2007.  Techspace is New Zealand's leading independent IT advisory company and has an impressive record of delivering projects ranging up to $90 million for many of New Zealand's largest corporates and government agencies.

Paul Chapman

Chief Financial Officer

Paul joined Quinovic in May 2016.  He has considerable experience as a finance executive and was previously Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Loyalty New Zealand.  He has worked in the property & finance sector and is currently an advisor to Cook Brothers Construction Limited, a Dunedin based national construction company.  He commenced his career at KPMG in Wellington and completed his OE at KPMG in Hong Kong.  Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Victoria University and in his spare time enjoys running, tennis and golf.

General Manager Franchise Services

Teresa has an extensive background in customer services, area /field management, sales and marketing, and service delivery training. She has studied management at post graduate level and has recently completed diplomas in Psychology and Health Coaching.  Teresa has spent several years in field management roles working alongside small and medium business owners throughout New Zealand, supporting and mentoring them to grow their business profits. Her most recent role was Senior Services Manager at Pub Charity Inc.  She joined Quinovic in April 2014.

Tamsin Watson

Franchise Services Manager

Tamsin is well known to franchise owners and their staff around New Zealand for her in-depth knowledge of Quinovic's successful franchise system and her enthusiasm for helping them to grow their businesses.  After first joining Quinovic in 1989 Tamsin obtained a business and management diploma and spent three years in a full-time Property Manager's role before leaving for the first of two stints in the UK.  Since May 2004 she has held senior franchise support roles and her wide experience has made her a valuable member of the Quinovic Group Office team.

Ann's extensive and ongoing hands-on experience as a Quinovic franchise owner means she is well equipped to provide support and training to businesses that are part of our network around New Zealand.  She is passionate about effective staff training and ensuring appropriate ongoing support and resources are available to all offices.  Ann has been involved with Quinovic since the mid-1990s, initially as Thorndon franchise owner in Wellington, then managing support, training and the induction functions in various Group Office roles.

Samantha Lacoua is an outgoing and innovative senior manager with extensive strategic operational leadership experience. With over 20 years of management experience in fast paced retail and hospitality environments she is skilled in growing business, products and brands.  Samantha lived in Europe for over 12 years managing hotels in France and England for the Louvre Group. In 2004 she moved back to New Zealand with her family and held various senior management positions in both the retail and hospitality sectors. She holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and is a registered Prince2 Project Practitioner. Her most recent position was CEO for The Woodward Group Ltd.

After 15 years managing corporate business units for McDonald's, Georgie Pie and Burger King, Ian made the step change into regional management coaching Pizza Haven franchisees in the business management techniques required to grow their business, achieving solid growth.  This success then transferred into Wholly Bagels. Growth in sales here was exponential. Achieving a doubling in sales over six years, assisted with the introduction of franchising and implementation of complimentary brands to the business that made the Wholly brand synonymous throughout Wellington.  The past four years Ian has been on the frontline for Interislander, leading passenger services on Aratere along with a team of 50 staff. Ian look's forward to applying the street smart leadership skills from the past 20 years to the Quinovic business model and to working alongside franchisees with the ultimate goal to succeed in growing each franchise, coaching franchisees in achieving profit growth through others, to work smarter not harder

Following a 20 year career in Banking, Greg joined the private sector in 2000 as Financial Controller for an aerial mapping company, before moving to Wellington in 2001 to join the newly privatised land/property information company Terralink International (TIL). As the General Manager (and subsequently also director/shareholder) of TIL for over 12 years, Greg was instrumental in the transformation of TIL from a previously failed SOE into a successful private business. Following the sale of TIL 2014, Greg moved into the newly created entity of CoreLogic NZ in the role of General Manager Operations.

Greg has over 15 years of senior company management and leadership experience, with strong skills across a broad spectrum of business disciplines including strategy development/execution, people leadership/management, operations management, finance, HR, business development & marketing, organisational design, business transformation & change management.

Greg looks forward to working alongside franchisees to assist and support them in the operation, development and growth of their businesses.

Adam Still

Franchise Development Manager

Starting in a sales role for the printing.com franchise, Adam moved through to the group office in a Franchise Development BDM role, responsible for maintaining and delivering the training workshops, on-boarding and training new franchisees, then working with franchise owners on sales strategy and marketing plan development as well as general business consultancy. Moving into a Regional Director position, Adam was key in the evolution of printing.com and the implementation of online platforms launching the business into new client markets.

 

For the 12 months prior to joining Quinovic, Adam has been working as Sales Effectiveness Coach for Fairfax Media NZ on the creation and then facilitation of a sales induction course, along with ongoing advanced sales training for the national sales teams. Adam is an energetic and enthusiastic leader with proven experience in achieving product, brand and business growth. With extensive experience in adult learning and business development he is excited about using his strengths in sales and marketing to work with the Quinovic franchise group moving forward.

Bernard Wright

Master Franchise Owner

Bernard was born and educated in Auckland.  He has over 30 years’ experience in a combination of the legal, banking, finance, property development and property management sectors and has developed a wealth of knowledge in the residential unit title property sector in Auckland and Hamilton.

For the last twelve years Bernard has operated his own consultancy firm and has actively invested in both rental property and property management enterprises.

In March 2016 Bernard and his wife Sharon purchased the first Quinovic Master Franchise licence for the Upper North Island area.

In his spare time Bernard plays squash and tennis.  He is an avid supporter of the All Black, Blues, Manchester United and tries to impart some of his football knowledge to his son’s football team.

Sharon Wright

Master Franchise Owner

Sharon is a qualified accountant with 30 years’ experience in the corporate and education sectors.  She has considerable experience in property management and property investment and has served as a Trustee on a School Board for a three year period.

Her focus on property development and investment companies led to a natural move in 2011 into ownership and management of a group of property management companies wither husband Bernard.

In March 2016 Sharon and her husband Bernard purchased the first Quinovic Master Franchise licence for the Upper North Island area.   

Sharon’s interest include food and wine, travel, tennis and badminton.
