On 2 June 2020, Tenancy Services announced that the deadline for the healthy homes standards compliance statement had been extended from 1 July 2020 to 1 December 2020. This decision was in response to the limitations imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak which impacted the ability for rental property owners to access their rental properties.
The timeline for the rest of the healthy homes standards remains unchanged with the compliance date still 1 July 2021 for any new or renewed tenancies.
