Quinovic welcomes Louise Hawthorne and Martin Duncan, the proud new franchise owners of Quinovic Whitby.
Bringing a wealth of experience to their new roles, Louise and Martin are looking forward to growing the business with the same level of professional care and expertise that clients have come to expect of the team.
Louise has worked with Quinovic for more than 16 years. She has experience and knowledge in all aspects of property management including working as operations manager and relieving principal.
Martin brings a wide range of complementary skills and experience to the role. As a property owner client of Quinovic for many years, Martin knows what property owners want from their property managers. His extensive knowledge about property construction and time spent as a mortgage broker means he has access to useful contacts and experience in the property industry.
Communication is Key
Excellent customer service is a focus for the new owners. They believe in open and honest communication and that everyone involved, tenants and property owners alike, should be treated with care and respect. Martin says that there are great opportunities for growing the business by ensuring that property owners and tenants achieve their rental goals.
Keeping it Local
Living and working locally is a major drawcard to these well-connected and committed members of the Porirua community.
Louise describes herself as gregarious and loves nothing more than a good catch up with people whether in the office or out and about. Porirua is a place she knows well having raised her family there. Martin’s life-long connection to the area includes his primary, secondary and tertiary education – all local. With a ‘large family presence in the Porirua basin,’ Martin is firmly entrenched in the area and says it's a great place to live, work and play.
Louise’s family remains very important to her, and she is thrilled that her now adult children choose to also live locally. Spending time with family, especially her grandson involves adventures throughout Porirua while overseas travel with her partner, especially to Bali, expands her interest in culture.
Away from work, Martin trains in Brazilian Jui Jitsu and enjoys playing football. Other activities include spending time in his community orchard and hosting friends and family at home, with Martin’s 15 chickens providing eggs for all.
