Taranaki Property Market

The Taranaki region’s residential property market has improved over the past 6 months, with Trade Me Property reporting a 16.7% increase in asking average price over the past 12 months. Quotable Value indicates that the New Plymouth district experienced a 10.0% rise in average house value between March 2016 and March 2017 – from $379,926 to $418,057.

The growth in Taranaki appears to be evenly spread with Stratford District up 9.6% year on year while the South Taranaki District was also up by 7.7%.
