We believe Bryndwr is a suburb to seriously consider investing in. It has historically been split in two with the western side having a lower quality of housing and lower rents than the east which boarders Fendalton. But in the last 3 years a few things have changed. 1) Younger families have purchased ex state homes and renovated, 2) As the University of Canterbury has grown, this has become a key pocket for student housing and 3) With changes to the RMD zone centered on the corner of Clyde and Ilam, multi dwelling developments are replacing older stock. We think this is worth seriously investing in for your next property.
